MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is being influenced through his worldwide popularity. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017. It was awarded for best Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN for Sony's Medellin-based subsidiary La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the top of the charts, being ranked eighth on the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that was a Top Five hit. He collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her smash streaming song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 was when the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo's parents and brothers were musicians when the time he was born. According to him, musicality was a mandatory aspect of his daily life. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the ukulele, saxophone and piano. His initial choice of career was to be a veterinarian however, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn to sing with a Cuban teacher. The result was discovering that he had a talent for singing changed his path in life.
