MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which was which was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina within the year following. In 2021, he performed as a duo TINI for her hit online single Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his older brother and mother are both musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. When he was young, he taught to perform on the piano, saxophone as well as guitar. His original plan of action was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under the help of a Cuban teacher. The result was learning that he possessed an aptitude for singing, changed his path in life.
